Posts Element

The Posts element allows you to display a list of related posts from a particular category or taxonomy. You can style and design the element to your choosing and decide from various layout types available. Drag the element onto the page to start customizing and building your latest posts, related posts, or anything of your choosing. 


Content Tab

Layout 

  1. Skin - Choose a skin for your posts to either be Classic or Cards 
  2. Columns - Set the number of columns to be displayed from 1 to 6
  3. Posts per Page - Set the number of posts you want to be displayed on a page 
  4. Image Position - Set the post's image position either Top, Left, Right, None
  5. Carousel - Set your posts in a carousel display 
  6. Layout - Set the layout for your posts to either be Grid, Masonry, or Metro 
  7. Image Size - Set the image size from thumbnail to full 
  8. Image Ratio - Set the ration for your post's image 
  9. Image Width - Set the exact width of the image 
  10. Title - Choose to either show or hide the title of the posts 
  11. HTML Tag - Set the HTML Tag for the title from H1 to H6 
  12. Excerpt - Choose to either show or hide the excerpt of the posts 
  13. Excerpt Lenght - Choose the length of the excerpt by setting the exact number of words to be displayed.
  14. Meta Data - Set the metadata that you want to be displayed. Click on the box to open the menu of options. You can choose to display the Author, Date, Time, or Comments. 
  15. Separator Between - Choose to display a separator between the metadata. 
  16. Read More - Choose to either show or hide the read more button 
  17. Read More Text - Customize the "Read More" text 

Query

  1. Source - Select the source you want your posts to generate the content from. You can choose to either show content from Posts, Pages, Portfolio, Portfolio Gallery, Maula Selection, or Related Posts.

Include 

  1. Include By - You can Include or Exclude posts either by Term or Author. If you choose Author, you can choose which author you want to be displayed, or if you choose Term, you can decide on category or other taxonomy.
  2. Date - Select posts from All, Past Day, Past Week, Past Month, Past Year, or Custom. If you choose Custom you can set a date for Before and After. 
  3. Order By - You can order your posts either by Date, Title, Menu Order, or Random. 
  4. Order - You can also have your posts to be ordered either Ascending or Descending. 
  5. Ignore Sticky Posts - Choose to either ignore or not the sticky posts. Note that they only work if zero terms have been selected. 

Exclude

  1. Exclude By - You can exclude posts either by Current Post, Manual Selection, Term, or Author. 
  2. Offset - Use this setting to skip on posts 
  3. Date - Select posts from All, Past Day, Past Week, Past Month, Past Year, or Custom. If you choose Custom you can set a date for Before and After. 
  4. Order By - You can order your posts either by Date, Title, Menu Order, or Random. 
  5. Order - You can also have your posts to be ordered either Ascending or Descending. 
  6. Ignore Sticky Posts - Choose to either ignore or not the sticky posts. Note that they only work if zero terms have been selected. 

Pagination 

  1. Pagination - Choose from the options available to add pagination to your posts. You can choose either from Numbers, Show More, Previous/Next, and Numbers + Previous/Next 

If you choose  Numbers 

  1. Page Limit- Set the page limit in value to only show a certain amount of posts on the page
  2. Shorten - Choose to shorten the pagination row. It will show only the number of the first pages and the last one. 
  3. Alignment - Set the Alignment of the pagination either Left, Center, or Right 
  4. Spacing - Set the spacing between the posts and the pagination 

If you choose  Show More

  1. Show More Text - Type in your custom text to replace Show More or leave it as it is
  2. Alignment - Set the Alignment of the pagination either Left, Center, or Right 
  3. Spacing - Set the spacing between the posts and the pagination 

If you choose  Previous/Next

  1. Previous Label - Type in your custom Previous label 
  2. Next Label - Type in your custom Next label 
  3. Alignment - Set the Alignment of the pagination either Left, Center, or Right 
  4. Spacing - Set the spacing between the posts and the pagination 

If you choose Numbers + Previous/Next 

  1. Page Limit - Set the page limit in value to only show a certain amount of posts on the page
  2. Shorten - Choose to shorten the pagination row. It will show only the number of the first pages and the last one. 
  3. Previous Label - Type in your custom Previous label 
  4. Next Label - Type in your custom Next label

Filters

  1. Filters - Choose to either show or hide the filters. 
  2. Taxonomy - Choose the taxonomy for your filters either Categories, Tags, Portfolio Categories, or Portfolio Tags
  3. Filter All - Choose to either show or hide the filter all taxonomy 
  4. String - If you choose to show the All categories, you can customize the text. 


Style Tab 

Layout 

  1. Columns Gap - Set the gap between the columns 
  2. Row Gap - Set the gap between the rows 
  3. Initial Animation - Set an entrance animation for your posts 
  4. Alignment - Set the alignment of your posts to either be Left, Center, or Right 

Box

  1. Border Width - Set the border width for the posts' box
  2. Border Radius - Set the border radius for the posts' box
  3. Padding - Set the padding within the posts' box
  4. Content Padding - You can add additional padding around the content of the posts' box 
  5. Box Shadow - Choose to add a shadow around the posts' box 
  6. Background Color - Choose to add a background color for the posts' box
  7. Border Color - Select the border color of the posts' box 

Image

  1. Border Radius - Choose to add border-radius around the posts' images 
  2. Spacing - Add spacing between the image and the content 
  3. CSS Filters - Add filters to the posts' image 
  4. Size - Set the exact size of the posts' image. Note: This option will work on Cards Type. 

Content 

Title

  1. Color - Set the color of the posts' title 
  2. Typography - Tweak the typography options for the title 
  3. Spacing - Set the spacing between the title and the content 

Meta

  1. Color - Set the color of the meta 
  2. Separator Color - Set the color of the metadata separator 
  3. Typography - Tweak the typography options for the metadata 
  4. Spacing - Set the spacing between the meta and the excerpt 

Excerpt

  1. Color - Set the color of the excerpt
  2. Typography - Tweak the typography options for the excerpt
  3. Spacing - Set the spacing between the excerpt and the read more button 

Pagination

Choose Normal or Hover

  1. Typography - Tweak the typography options for the pagination text 
  2. Text Color - Set the text color for the pagination 
  3. Background Color - Set the background color of the pagination 
  4. Hover Animation - This applies only when you choose Hover state, you can set an animation choosing from the list available.
  5. Border Type - Choose from the border type to either be Solid, Double, Dotted, Dashed, Groove 
  6. Border Radius - Set the border Radius for the pagination box 
  7. Box Shadow - Choose to add shadow to your pagination box 
  8. Padding - Add padding width to the pagination 

Filters

  1. Space Between - Add the exact space between the filters \
  2. Spacing - Set the spacing between the filters and the posts 
  3. Alignment - Set the alignment of the filters to either be Left, Center, or Right 
  4. Typography -Tweak the typography options for the filters' text 
  5. Color - Set the color of the filters 


Set the settings for the Advanced Tab that is appropriate for the element.
